Image and Header Record Errors

The Land Management Information Center and other users have discovered image errors on the published DOQ county CDs. If other problem DOQ data files or header records are discovered, please report them to LMIC at clearing.house@state.mn.us or 651-296-1211. LMIC will update this website and will notify USGS.

Of the 87 county CDs, image and header record problems have been identified for the following areas. Corrected files may be downloaded from LMIC's FTP site.

Image problems on currently distributed CDs (as of 5/2000)

• Aitkin County, Disc 2 (o4609328.nec Hassman (NE), corrupt file)
• Aitkin County, Disc 2 (o4609335.nec Spirit Lake (NE), distorted image)
• Anoka County (o4509340.swc Typo Lake (SW), corrupt file)
• Becker County (o4609502.swc Richwood (SW), corrupt file)
• Redwood County (o4409545.swc Wabasso SW (SW), corrupt file)
• St. Louis County, Disc 3 (o4709231.sec Aurora (SE), shifted image)

Header record problem on currently distributed CD (as of 5/2000)

• Clearwater County (o4709554.nwh Anchor Hill (NW), corrupt header)

Problems on the initially released CD

• Itasca County, Disc 2 (o4709364.swc Wawina (SW), corrupt file; corrected 6/98)
• Olmsted County (o4309208.nwc St. Charles (NW), and o4409264.swc Elba (SW), these two files were reversed; corrected 8/98)
• St. Louis County, Disc 1 (o4809236.sec Hale Bay (SE), upside-down; corrected 6/98)
• Winona County (o4309208.nwc St. Charles (NW), and o4409264.swc Elba (SW), these two files were reversed; corrected 8/98)
