Pupil Characteristics

Many of these maps display data from questions on the 1990 Census which focus on the characteristics of children old enough to go to school (pre-kindergarten through 12th grade). The census uses the term "relevant children" to refer to all of the children that a school district is responsible for serving (all of those eligible to attend school).
