1990 Census redistricting profile -- geographic options

The 1990 Census Redistricting Profile was initiated by Public Law 94-171. This law, enacted in 1975, "requires the Census Bureau to provide redistricting data in a geographic format requested by State governments." The data set includes total population, housing units, under- and over-18 population, race and unduplicated minority count. Current population estimates are from the State Demographic Center.
